#Monitoring #ram usage under #Linux

The fact that #htop is a great tool for monitoring is certainly nothing new for many, but do you know what the colored bar in the #mem #display really means?

With F2 Setup you can expand and reconfigure the display. In the example above I have added memory [text] and memory [graph].
Now you can see that only the first green part of the memory bar, is the used #memory. Below you can see the time history of memory usage.
